Our Platform - Issue 3

ISSUE 3 will:

Require approval of Council prior to the City commencing litigation

Establish and adjust Council pay on the basis of “median household income” within the City of Cincinnati

Require one year residency within the City to run, or serve, as Mayor, or member of City Council

Eliminates the filling of City Council vacancies by the prior members hand-picked designee

Provide that Council vacancies would be filled by the candidate whom received the next highest vote count in the prior election

End legislative impediments by the Mayor for the consideration of ordinances (end “pocket veto”)

Provide individual liability for violations of the open meeting and public record laws

Provide for recall of the Mayor
